This the second ship to carry the name HMS Londonderry was a
Type 12 Rothesay Class, anti-submarine frigate. Built by White, launched 20-May-1958. Commissioned 18-Oct-1961. Armament removed 1979 and used as a trials ship. Paid off 1982, then re-commissioned during Falklands War. Paid off 1984. Used as harbour training ship 1984 - 1988. Sunk as a target 25-June-1989.
