HMS Leviathan (1903) CC  (3rd) 

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Leviathan was an armoured cruiser.

Built by John Brown shipyard on the Clyde, laid down 30-Nov-1899, launched 03-Jul-1901, and completed 16-Jun-1903.

On completion joined the Cruiser Squadron, Channel Fleet 1903-04, then went to the Mediterranean 1905-06. Returned to the UK and refitted at Chatham 1907. Joined the Home Fleet 1908-09 then to the America & west Indies Station 1909-12. Returned to the UK as Flagship, Training Squadron 1912, then joined the 3rd Fleet 1913-14.

With the Grand Fleet 1914-15, and back to the America & West Indies Station as Flagship 1915-19.

Sold 03-Mar-1920.
