This the second ship to carry the name HMS Lancaster was a third rate, 66-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 1749, 161ft long, 46ft wide and of 1,478 tons builders measurement.

Broken up at Portsmouth 10-Aug-1773.

Won the Battle Honour: Louisburg 1758.
