HMS Kent (1679) (2nd)

This the second ship to carry the name HMS Kent was a third rate, 70-gun
ship-of-the-line.
Built by Johnson of Blackwall, launched 1679, 151ft long, 40ft wide and of 1,040 tons builders measurement (bm). Rebuilt at Rotherhithe 1699 with an increased tonnage of 1,064 tons bm. Rebuilt again in 1724 as 1,130 tons bm. Broken up 1744. Won the Battle Honours: Barfleur 1692, Vigo 1702, Velez Malaga 1704 and Passero 1718.
