This the third ship to carry the name HMS Greyhound was a 12-gun, ship.

Built at Woolwich, launched 28-Jan-1636, and of 126 tons builders measurement.

Blown up 1656 in action with the Spanish.

Won the Battle Honours: Dover 1652 and Kentish Knock 1652.
