This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Express was a 6-gun,
packet brig. Built by Colson of Deptford, launched 08-Oct-1835, 95ft long, 30ft 6in wide and of 362 tons builders measurement. Armed with 6 x 18pdr guns. Sold 11-Jan-1862.
