This the eighteenth ship to carry the name HMS Drake was a base ship.

Originally a Monitor, built by Palmer, launched 17-Jun-1915 and named Marshal Ney, displacing 6,670 tons.

Renamed HMS Vivid Jun-1922 and used as a base ship.

Renamed HMS Drake 01-Jan-1934.

Renamed HMS Alaunia II 1947.

Arrived at Milford Haven for breaking up 06-Oct-1957.
