This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Dragon was a third rate, 74-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 04-Mar-1760, 168ft long, 47ft wide and of 1,614 tons builders measurement.

Used for harbour service from 1781.

Sold 01-Jun-1784.

Won the Battle Honours: Belle Isle 1761, Martinique 1762 and Havana 1762.
