Wooden Screw Frigate 32-gun

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Doris was a 32-gun, wooden screw frigate.

Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 25-Mar-1857, 240ft long, 48ft wide, of 2,483 tons builders measurement and displacing 3,803 tons. Armed with 20 x 1in, 2 x 68pdr and 10 x 32pdr guns.

Sold 1885.
