HMS Dido (1836) (2nd)

This the second ship to carry the name HMS Dido was an 18-gun,
corvette. Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 13-Jun-1836, 120ft long, 38ft wide, and of 734 tons. Armed with 18 x 32pdr guns. Used as a coal hulk from 1860. Sold 03-Mar-1903. Won the Battle Honours: Syria 1840 and China 1842.
