HMS Dasher (1942) CVE  (4th)

     
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Dasher was an Archer Class, escort aircraft carrier.

Built by Sun Shipbuilding Co, launched 12-Apr-1941, transferred to the Royal Navy on Lend-lease 02-Jul-1942.

Destroyed by an Avgas explosion and fire south of the Cumbraes 27-Mar-1943.

Won the Battle Honours: Atlantic 1942, North Africa 1942 and Arctic 1943.
