This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Daring was a
turtleback, torpedo boat destroyer. Built by Thornycroft of Chiswick, laid down Jul-1892, launched 25-Nov-1893, and completed Feb-1895. With the other five prototypes, used to develop operational use for the new type of ship. Sold 10-Apr-1912.
