This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Danae was a Leander
Class frigate. Built at Devonport Dockyard, launched 21-Oct-1965. Appeared at the Silver Jubilee Review 1977. Sold 25-Apr-1991 to the Ecuadorian Navy and renamed Moran Valverde.
