This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Cumberland was a third rate, 74-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built by Pitcher of Northfleet, launched 19-Aug-1807, 174ft 6in long, 48ft wide and of 1,718 tons builders measurement.

Used as a convict ship from Mar-1830.

Renamed HMS Fortitude 15-Nov-1833.

Paid off and sold Feb-1870.
