This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Clyde was a Ton Class minesweeper.

Built by Doig of Grimsby, originally HMS Crichton launched 17-May-1953. Renamed HMS Clyde May-1954.

Renamed HMS St. David 1961, then renamed again 1876 to HMS Crichton.

Towed to Cairnryan for breaking up 09-Apr-1987.
