This the third ship to carry the name HMS Cleopatra was a wooden paddle sloop used in the Indian service.

Built by Pitcher of Northfleet, launched 1839, 178ft 5in long, 31ft wide and of 760 tons builders measurement. The steam powered engine produced 220nhp.

Foundered in the Indian Ocean 14-Apr-1847.
