HMS Cardiff (1652) (1st)

This the first HMS Cardiff was a re-named captured Dunkirk privateer originally
named Fortune.
She was a 34-gun ship, captured by Captain James Peacock in HMS Tiger 1652, of 300 tons builders measurement. Her main roles were fishery protection and convoy protection in the Irish Sea during the first Dutch war before being sold in Jamaica 1658.
