This the third ship to carry the name HMS Brighton was a Type
12 Rothesay Class, anti-submarine frigate. Built by Yarrow, launched 30-Oct-1959, commissioned 29-Sep-1961. Appeared at the Silver Jubilee Review 1977. Paid off 1981. Arrived at the River Medway for breaking up 16-Sep-1985.
