This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Brazen was an
Albacore class, 4 gun, wooden screw gunboat. Built by Laird, laid down 17-Oct-1855, launched 23-Feb-1856 and completed Apr-1856. Took part in the Royal Fleet Review 1856. Broken up Aug-1864.
