HMS Boadicea (1931) DD  (4th)

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Boadicea was a B Class, destroyer.

Built by Hawthorne Leslie, laid down 12-July-1929, launched 23-Sep-1930, and commissioned 07-Apr-1931.

Took part in the King George V Silver Jubilee Fleet Review 16-Jul-1935.

The early part of WW2 was spent on convoy escort work. But in Nov-1942 was damaged by the French ship Torpilleurs off Oran.

Torpedoed and sunk 13-Jun-1944 by air attack off Portland.

Won the Battle Honours: Atlantic 1941-43, North Africa 1942, Arctic 1942-44 and Normandy 1944.
