HMS Blonde (1890) CC  (6th)

    
This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Blonde was a Barracouta Class, torpedo cruiser.

Built at Pembroke Dockyard, laid down May-1888, launched 22-Oct-1889 and completed 1890.

On completion served at Devonport 1890-92, then to the Cape Station 1892-95, to M'Wele 1895-96 where she won the battle honour East Africa 1895. Returned to the Cape 1896-98, on to Sierra Leone 1898-99.

Returned to the UK at Devonport 1899-1901, refitted 1901-02, after which she remained at Devonport 1902-05

Sold 1905.
