HMS Blake (1892) CC  (3rd)

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Blake was a 1st Class Cruiser.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, laid down Jul-1888, launched 23-Nov-1889, and completed 1892.

Served as the Flagship on the North America & West Indies Station 1892-95, move to the Channel Fleet 1895-98.

Went into reserve at Devonport 1898-1907, but with a spell undertaking trooping duties in the Mediterranean 1900-01.

Converted to a Destroyer Depot Ship 1907, then served in this capacity at the Nore 1908-09, Home Fleet 1909-14, Grand Fleet 1914-19.

Paid off 191 and sold 09-Jun-1922
