This the first ship to carry the name HMS Blake was a third rate, 74-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Deptford Dockyard, launched 23-Aug-1808, 172 ft long, 48ft wide and of 1,701 tons builders measurement.

Used as a a prison ship from Jan-1814.

Sold 17-Oct-1816.
