HMS Bittern (1840) (2nd)

This the second ship to carry the name HMS Bittern was a
12-gun, brig. Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 18-Apr-1840, 105ft long, 34ft wide and of 484 tons builders measurement. Sold 20-Feb-1860. Won the Battle Honours: Burma 1852-53 and China 1856-60.
