This the ninth ship to carry the name HMS Amazon was the name
ship of the Type 21, Amazon Class, guided missile frigates. Built by Vosper-Thornycroft, launched 26-Apr-1971 and completed 1974. Appeared at the Silver Jubilee Review 1977. Sold 1994 to Pakistan as PNS Babur.
