HMS Amazon (1865) (6th)

This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Amazon was a 4-gun,
wooden screw sloop. Built at Pembroke Dock, launched 23-May-1865, 187ft long, 36ft wide and of 1,040 tons builders measurement. Armed with 2 x 6in and 2 x 64pdr guns. Sank following a collision in the English Channel, 10-Jul-1866.
