This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS York was a third rate,
74-gun ship-of-the-line.
Built by Brent of Rotherhithe, launched 07-Jul-1807, 175ft long, 47ft 6in wide and of 1,743 tons builders measurement. Altered to a convict ship Nov-1819. Broken up at Portsmouth Mar-1854. Won the Battle Honour: Martinique 1809.
