HMS Wrangler (1797) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Wrangler was a
12-gun, gunvessel. Also known as Gunboat No 40. Bought at Leith Mar-1797, 72ft 6in long, 30ft wide and of 138 tons builders measurement. Armed with 2 x 24pdr guns and 10 x 18pdr carronades. Sold Dec-1802.
