HMS Warrior (1781)  (1st)
3rd Rate 74-gun 

    
This the first ship to carry the name HMS Warrior was a third rate, 74-gun ship-of-the-line.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 18-Jun-1781, 169ft long, 47ft 6in wide, and of 1,642 tons builders measurement.

Used as a receiving ship 1818, then a convict ship Feb-1840.

Broken up at Woolwich Dec-1857.

Won the Battle honour: The Saints 1782 and  Copenhagen 1801.
