HMS Undaunted (1944) DD  (6th)

    
This the sixth ship to carry the name HMS Undaunted was a U Class, destroyer.

Built by Cammell Laird, laid down 08-Sep-1942, launched 19-Jul-1943, and commissioned 03-Mar-1944.

Converted to a Type 15 frigate 1951-54 with the pennant number F53.

Used for Wasp helicopter trials 1959.

Paid off to reserve and listed for disposal Mar-1973.

Sunk Nov-1978 as a target for an Exocet missile in the Atlantic.

Won the Battle Honours: Normandy 1944 and Okinawa 1945.
