| Ordered
on 12-Jun-1941 as the seventh Emergency Flotilla, these were another repeat of the S Class, but were not fitted
for Arctic service.
In Jun-1944 all eight ships took part in the Normandy landings as the 25th Destroyer Flotilla. After which they went to the Adriatic. On 16-Jan-45 thy were transferred to the Pacific for operations with the British Pacific Fleet. They remained there until the war ended. All continued in service until the late 1960's, and the last one was broken up 1983.
