HMS Sybille (1892) CC  (3rd)

    
This the third ship to carry the name HMS Sybille was a 2nd Class, Protected Cruiser.

Built by Thomson of Clydebank, laid down 1889, launched 27-Dec-1890 and completed 1892.

On completion went into reserve at Devonport 1892-95, then to the Mediterranean 1895-98. Returned to the UK at Portsmouth 1898-1900 then to the Cape Station 1900-01.

Wrecked in Lambert's bay, South Africa 16-Jan-1901.
