Composite Screw Gunvessel 5-gun

     
This the 21st ship to carry the name HMS Swift was a 5-gun, composite screw gunvessel.

Built by Green of Blackwall, launched 29-Nov-1879, 165ft long, 29ft wide and displacing 756 tons. Armed with 2 x 7in and 3 x 20pdr guns.

Sold at Hong Kong, 1902 and renamed Hoi Ching.
