This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Swift was a 4-gun, sloop.

Built at Portsmouth Dockyard, launched 1699, and of 65 tons builders measurement.

Captured 18-Aug-1702 by French privateer Duc de Bourgogne off Scilly Isles.
