This the third ship to carry the name HMS Sultan was a third rate, 74-gun, ship of the line.

Built by Dudman of Deptford, 175ft long, 48ft 6in wide and of 1,751 tons builders measurement.

Used as a receiving ship from 1860, then as a target.

Broken up Jan 1816.
