Packet Brig 8-gun

This the ninth ship to carry the name HMS Star/Starr was an 8-gun, packet brig.

Built at Woolwich Dockyard, launched 29-Apr-1835, 95ft long, 30ft 6in wide and of 358 tons builders measurement.

Used as a coastguard watchvessel from Sep-1857.

Renamed WV11 25-May-1863.

Broken up about 1899.
