This the second ship to carry the name HMS St Albans was a fourth rate, 54-gun ship

Built by Burchett of Rotherhithe, launched 27-Aug-1706 131ft long, 34ft 6in wide, and of 687 tons builders measurement (bm).

Rebuilt at Plymouth 1718 with an increased tonnage of 853 tons bm.

Wrecked 20-Oct-1744 off Jamaica.
