This the first ship to carry the name HMS St Albans was a fourth rate, 50-gun ship.

Built by Burchett of Deptford, launched 1687, 128ft long, 33ft 6in wide, and of 615 tons builders measurement.

Wrecked 20-Oct-1744 off Kinsale.

Won the Battle Honour: Barfleur 1692.
