HMS Skirmisher (1905) CC  (1st)

     
This the only ship to carry the name HMS Skirmisher was a Scout Cruiser.

Built by Vickers of Barrow, laid down 08-Jun-1903, launched 19-Apr-1904 and completed Apr-1905.

On completion went into reserve 1906-07. Joined the Channel Flotilla 1907-09, then the home Fleet 1909-10.

Served as Scout 4th Destroyer Flotilla, 3rd Fleet 1910-12. Refitted 1912. Joined the 7th Destroyer Flotilla at Devonport1913-14, then the Humber 1914-15.

Joined the 6th Light Cruiser Squadron at the Humber 1915, then to the Mediterranean 1916-19.

Based at Immingham 1919.

Sold 1920.
