This the second ship to carry the name HMS Seine was a fifth
rate 40-gun ship. Originally French, Embuscade, captured off Donegal 12-Oct-1798, 143ft long, 40ft wide and of 906 tons builders measurement. Renamed HMS Ambuscade. Renamed HMS Seine 16-Jan-1804. Broken up Aug-1813.
