This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Roebuck was an 8-gun, fireship.

Built by Snelgrove of Wapping, launched 17-Apr-1690, 96ft long, 25ft 6in wide and of 299 tons builders measurement.

With Dampier 1695 as a 5th Rate of 26-guns.

Foundered 24-Feb-1701 off Ascension Island.

Won the Battle Honour: Barfleur 1692.
