HMS Revenge (1716) (5th)

This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Revenge was originally
HMS Swiftsure renamed 02-Jan-1716. At the time of being renamed the ship was classed as a third rate, 64-gun ship-of-the-line, of 1,104 tons builders measurement. Another rebuild followed at Deptford 1742 with an increased tonnage of 1,258 tons. Sold 24-May-1787. Won the Battle Honours: 'Orphee' 1758 and Quiberon Bay 1759.
