HMS Reserve (1650) (1st)

This the first ship to carry the name HMS Reserve was a 42-gun
ship. Built by Pett of Woodbridge, launched 1650, 118ft long, 32ft 6in wide and of 538 tons builders measurement (bm). Rebuilt at Deptford 1701 as 580 tons bm. Foundered 27-Nov-1703 off Yarmouth. Won the Battle Honours: Lowestoft 1665 and Four Days Battle 1666.
