This the fifth ship to carry the name HMS Raleigh was a light
cruiser. Built by Beardmore of Dalmuir, laid down 09-Dec-1915, launched 28-Aug-1919 and completed Jul-1921. On completion went to the America and West Indies Station 1921-22. Wrecked in thick fog on the straits of Belle isle at Labrador 08-Aug-1922. Destroyed 1926-27 as a target.
