HMS Prince of Wales (1904) BB  (7th)

 
This the seventh ship to carry the name HMS Prince of Wales was a London Class (1902) battleship.

Built at Chatham Dockyard, laid down March-1902, launched 25-Mar-1902 and completed in March-1904.

She served mainly with the Mediterranean Fleet from 1904-07, then with the Atlantic and Home Fleets until 1912. 

Joined the 5th Battle Squadron from 1912-1914.

Accompanied the Dardanelles force early in 1915 and then joined the force blockading the Austrian Fleet until 1918.

Sold 12-Apr-1920. 

Won the Battle Honour: Dardanelles 1915.
