This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Pique was a 2nd
class protected cruiser. Built by Palmers of Jarrow, laid down 1889, launched 13-Dec-1890, and completed 1892. On completion remained at Devonport 1892-95. Went to the China Station 1895-98. Returned to Devonport 1898-1900. Then back to the China Station 1900-03. Laid up at Sheerness and later Blackwater 1904-11. Sold 1911.
