Cutter 12-gun

    
This the second ship to carry the name HMS Pioneer was a 12-gun, cutter.

Built by King of Upnor, launched 10-Mar-1810, 83ft long, 23ft wide and of 197 tons builders measurement. Armed with 10 x 12pdr carronades and 2 x 6pdr guns.

Reclassified as a schooner 1813, then a back to a cutter 1819.

Used as a coastguard vessel from Apr-1824.

Sold 04-Sep-1849.
