HMS Norfolk (1970) DDG  (4th)

    
This the fourth ship to carry the name HMS Norfolk was the last of eight County Class guided missile destroyers to serve with the Royal Navy.

Built by Swan Hunter shipbuilders, launched 16-Nov-1967, completed 1970, with the pennant number D21.

Used as a trials ship for mounting Exocet missiles, when one of her two twin 4.5in gun turrets were replaced with missile launchers.

Sold to the Chilean Navy and renamed Capitan Prat. Left Britain Feb-1982.
