This the eighth ship to carry the name HMS Nonsuch was a third rate, 64-gun, ship-of-the-line.

Built at Plymouth Dockyard, launched 17-Dec-1774, 160ft long, 44ft 6in wide and of 1,374 tons builders measurement.

Used as a floating battery from May-1794.

Broken up Jun-1802.

Won the Battle Honour: St. Lucia 1778 and The Saints 1778.
