This the third ship to carry the name HMS Napier was the N

control a flotilla. Built by Fairfield, laid down 26-Jul-1939, launched 22-may-1940, and commissioned 11-Dec-1940. Manned by Royal Australian Navy on commissioning and transferred to the RAN 1941. Returned to the Royal Navy Sep-46. Arrived at Briton Ferry 17-Jan-1956 for breaking up. Won the Battle Honours: Crete 1941, Libya 1941, Burma 1944-45 and Okinawa 1945.
